MadeForMums has highlighted 16 toys with early Amazon Prime Day prices, including playsets, dolls, games and role-play toys that could suit Christmas or birthday shopping. Its report says each was tested by families and child judges for the 2025 MadeForMums Toy Awards; prices and availability can change, and the listed discounts are not a guarantee of the best price.
MadeForMums has listed 16 toys with early Amazon Prime Day prices, presenting them as options for shoppers starting Christmas and birthday buying. The selection ranges from a Thomas & Friends train set and a large Jurassic World dinosaur to board games, pretend-play toys and a greenhouse kit; the source says every item was tested by families and child judges for the 2025 MadeForMums Toy Awards.
The report lists discounts from 10% to 63%, based on the previous prices and sale prices shown in its article. Its biggest stated percentage saving is on the Doteki TOMY Multiplayer Battle Pack, listed at £11.02 from £29.99, a £18.97 reduction. The report lists the Thomas & Friends Load & Launch Barrel Delivery Set and Jurassic World Rebirth Rumble ’N Rampage Distortus Rex at £39.99 each, down from £54.99.
Other selections include the Smoby My Beauty Centre 3-in-1, listed at £100.14 from £129.99, and the L.O.L. Surprise! Eye Spy Ultimate Unboxing toy at £29.99 from £49.99. Lower-priced options include Pictionary Pic-Tato at £11.87, down from £19.99, and Pets Alive Mama Turtle Surprise at £12.99, down from £19.99. The article also includes BABY born Annabell, BABY born My Cat Cookie, a Bluey bath toy, and the Clementoni Smart-Tech Greenhouse.
MadeForMums says its testers considered play value, age suitability, quality, durability and value for money, as well as children’s enjoyment. The report notes awards across Gold, Silver, Bronze and Editor’s Choice categories. For example, it identifies the Thomas playset as a Gold winner and the Distortus Rex as a Silver winner. Its individual product notes include age recommendations such as 3+ for the train set and 4+ for the dinosaur; shoppers should check the age guidance and product details for each toy before buying.
What the Listed Savings Offer Shoppers
The selection gives gift shoppers a range of price points and play styles to compare while buying ahead, rather than focusing on one type of toy. Larger playsets and role-play items may be substantial purchases, while games and smaller interactive toys offer lower-priced alternatives. Buying early can also spread spending across several months, though the report does not establish that any listed item will remain at its sale price or be cheaper than at another retailer.
The awards testing offers one reference point for families choosing among many products, but it is not a substitute for checking whether a toy fits a child’s interests, age and available space. The report itself flags practical considerations, including the floor space needed for the Thomas track. Shoppers should also review the current price, delivery terms and seller listing before purchasing, since Amazon prices can change during sale periods.

How MadeForMums Chose These Toys
The article brings together toys recognised in the 2025 MadeForMums Toy Awards and checks their Amazon prices for early Prime Day offers. MadeForMums says families and child judges tested each toy, with assessments covering children’s enjoyment as well as product qualities such as durability and age suitability. The source does not provide a full testing protocol or independent price-history data for each product.
The list is aimed at shoppers considering gifts before Christmas, but it also identifies toys that could be bought for birthdays. It spans brands including Fisher-Price, Mattel, BABY born, Ravensburger, ZURU and Smoby. The listed prices are a snapshot in the source report, not confirmation that offers remain live now.

Prices and Stock May Change
The supplied report does not state when its price checks were made, how long the offers are scheduled to last, or whether every product is still in stock. It also does not provide a common price-history period to verify that each displayed reduction represents the lowest recent price. The percentages should be read as the report’s comparisons between the prices it lists, not as independently verified savings.
It is also unclear whether Amazon will extend, change or end any offer during the sale period. Product availability, delivery timing, seller and final checkout price can vary. The report’s award recognition and tester comments describe its review process and individual experiences; they do not establish that a toy will suit every child.
Check the Listing Before Buying
Shoppers interested in a particular toy should check its live Amazon listing for the current price, stock, delivery estimate, seller and age recommendation before ordering. Comparing prices with other retailers and checking whether accessories or batteries are included can help clarify the overall cost. If buying well ahead of Christmas, readers may also want to confirm the retailer’s return terms and keep purchase details.
There is no confirmed next price update or end date in the supplied report. Any further changes will depend on Amazon’s sale listings and stock, so the prices included here should not be treated as guaranteed.
